AZ Balloon Artists LOVE to decorate for children's birthday parties in the Gilbert, Tempe, Chandler, Queen Creek and surrounding areas in Arizona.
We have so much passion for making a child's party one to remember and find ourselves going "Over the Top" to the point that many times we don't make a dime on our work. But that is our choice and there is no mistaking that we dreamed a dream and are getting paid to make it happen!
So keep us inspired by hiring out our team for your party or event and let us "Wow" your crowd!

Custom Balloon Centerpieces
Kristy Edel of Chandler, AZ, did a great job providing her client a fun balloon centerpiece that was customized to the exact hair color of her client and color scheme of the client's party. Her attention to detail made her piece a huge hit and earned her many referrals! Good job Kristy.

Phoenix East Valley Balloon Jam
We had a lot of fun at the Balloon Jam on Thursday! Twisty Kristy created this super cute balloon clown made from mostly 350, 5" and 11" balloons. I thought a fun birthday cake would set the tone for this piece and since we find ourselves at "first" birthday parties more often than not, I gave him one lit balloon candle!
I shared this cute little frog on a lilly pad that I do at all of my birthday parties and some balloon entertainment events where 2-3 minute balloons are allowed.
That is really the magic of the local balloon jams...sharing ideas and designs to help each other understand what designs work with our target markets. Most of us have young children in our target market, so the majority of the jams are geared toward learning balloons for children.
However, the setting for giving a balloon to a child are so different, that we must learn what is appropriate. The frog design is great for a boy or a girl ages 1-5. This makes if very versatile and worth the time to learn. The only balloon artist that would stay away from a design like this would be one that works 100% fast line work. These artists may chose to keep all new balloon designs that they adopt under a minute and a half. Otherwise, long lines can form causing issues with parents and clients.
We missed Marta (with Bee Happy Balloons) at the balloon jam. She was tired after a long day that started with a balloon decor job for a local home builder (see photo on left) that I had the pleasure of assisting her with and then she went and entertained with balloon twisting until dark. She is a trooper!
Woody Burger with Qualatex came and introduced the group to a fun and popular balloon centerpiece for Safari Themed Events and birthday parties. This is super cute and fun tiger that can be used for a buffet table centerpiece or the tops to a set of safari themed columns. Thanks Woody!
Until next time....
have fun ballooning :)

A Unique Gift
What do you give to someone special to show you care? How about a beautiful balloon flower arrangement. As Balloon Artists we have the unique ability to create beautiful sculptures that can be delivered to that special someone.
This flower vase was created to celebrate her birthday which happened to fall on Valentines Day. The vase actually stood by itself and she was proudly showing it off at her desk.
Be unique and give a gift that is as special as they are - they will appreciate the thoughtfulness!!!

The Power of Balloons
There are lots of ways to pop the big question, but have you ever thought of asking someone to marry you with a kneeling balloon man? The art of balloons has come along way and your local balloon artist can probably create any masterpiece that your mind can invent!
Here is just one example of how a small balloon can change the way we see the world!
Donation box that the San Tan Valley Lions Club had sat on the Cooper Basin YMCA's counter and local residences simply ignored. But with a little help from our cute green friend here...donations
This frog helped draw attention to a Used Eyeglasses increased and a few local children can see again! :)

Unpoppables TV Show
As a balloon artist, I absolutely love the new show on TLC called "Unpoppables". The program portrays a very realistic view of the daily problems that occur while trying to design, create and deliver a balloon art sculpture. The art of twisting balloons to create works of art is not new, but it has never been put in front of the camera quite like this before.
One thing that does make me giggle every time I watch this show is that the artists keep saying what they are doing "has never been done before". Of course not...they just designed it...but the need for these artists to be unique really shines through on this show.
I would also like to see how these balloon artists deal with their spouses. Mine is not thrilled to be pulled into my studio and forced to blow up balloons. But if I ask him to build a metal frame for me....he is there! He is an Engineer with a need to build. So I hope to have one of the largest collections of balloon frames one day!
I hope the balloon artists will consider doing a wedding reception where they work along side florists to create beautiful centerpieces and buffet table decorations. This would really give the public some insight on the use of balloons in weddings and how florists can improve their artistic flare with the use of balloon twisting instead of always using round balloons floating on top of their creations.
